Celebrate Love Through The Art Of Tatreez
Join us as we host Badan Collective for an evening of love through the art of Tatreez. Founder and creative director Bayan will lead the class through an educational experience.
Learn the history and art of the Palestinian embroidery Tatreez passed down through generations. Learn about traditional wedding ceremonial symbols and even embroider initials in Arabian lettering.
ABOUT THE CLASS:
This class is ideal for those who have some form of embroidery experience or have done Tatreez before. There is a 30 minute teaching portion in the beginning where brief Palestinian history is covered, followed by a demo on the mechanics of cross-stitching. The rest of the workshop is hands-on. Students will take home their finished piece.

Includes a Tatreez Kit (stitching patterns, needle, thread, Aida cloth fabric). No need to bring anything additional to class!
